Privacy Policy
Last updated: 14 July 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Pinnacle Health Media Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), operating Redwood Men's Journal at youngdrain.world, collects, uses, discloses and protects personal information from visitors and customers in New Zealand and internationally. We are committed to complying with the Privacy Act 2020 (New Zealand) and, where applicable, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for European visitors.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly when you place an order (name, phone number), submit a contact form (name, email, message), or otherwise communicate with us. We also collect technical data automatically when you visit our website, including IP address, browser type, pages visited, referral URL and session duration, via cookies and similar technologies.
We do not collect sensitive health data beyond what you voluntarily provide in a message. We do not collect payment card data online - all payments are made cash on delivery.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your personal information to: process and confirm your order; contact you by phone within 1 business day to confirm order details; respond to your enquiries; improve our website and content; comply with legal obligations; and, with your consent, send you relevant wellness information.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
3. Legal Bases for Processing (GDPR-relevant visitors)
For visitors to whom the GDPR applies, we process your data on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (order fulfilment); legitimate interests (website operation, fraud prevention); consent (analytics and advertising cookies, where you have accepted via our cookie banner); and legal obligation (tax and regulatory requirements).
4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use Google Analytics (_ga, _gid), Google Ads (_gcl_au) and functional cookies. We operate Google Consent Mode v2: all advertising and analytics cookies are set to "denied" by default and are only activated if you click "Accept All" on our cookie banner. You may withdraw consent at any time by clicking "Reject Non-Essential" or by clearing your browser cookies. See our full Cookie Policy for details.
5. Google Ads and Remarketing
We may use Google Ads remarketing features to display advertisements to past visitors on the Google Display Network. This uses cookies set by Google. We participate in Google's Consent Mode framework; no advertising data is shared with Google until you provide consent. You can opt out of personalised advertising at adssettings.google.com.
6. Google Maps
Our contact page embeds a Google Maps iframe. When you view this page, Google may collect technical data (IP address, browser type) as described in Google's own Privacy Policy. This iframe loads directly from Google's servers. If you prefer not to load Google Maps, you may disable JavaScript or use a browser extension to block third-party iframes.
7. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We may share your information with: delivery service providers (for order fulfilment); IT and hosting service providers (who process data on our behalf under data processing agreements); Google (analytics and advertising services, subject to your consent); and law enforcement or regulatory authorities where required by law.
Any international transfer of data to providers outside New Zealand is made with appropriate safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses where required under GDPR.
8. Data Retention
Order data is retained for 7 years for legal and accounting purposes. Contact form enquiries are retained for 2 years. Analytics data is retained for 14 months (Google Analytics default). You may request deletion of your data at any time, subject to legal retention obligations.
9. Your Rights
Under the Privacy Act 2020 (NZ), you have the right to access, correct, and request deletion of your personal information. Under GDPR (where applicable), you also have rights to data portability, restriction of processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@youngdrain.world.
10. Supervisory Authority - New Zealand
If you believe we have handled your personal information incorrectly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner (OPC) - New Zealand's independent privacy regulator. Contact the OPC at www.privacy.org.nz or by phone at 0800 803 909. GDPR-applicable visitors in the EU may also complain to their national data protection authority.
11. Security
Our website is served over HTTPS. We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects when changes were made. Continued use of our website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
